Why do you GCs try to make excuses and not just condemn this "police officer" even complain about his racists actions and that he should be removed from his post. If this is not done these people will just increase and take more agressive action. Its the same with your government offices are these people especially picked trained to be nasty? why do we have to put up with them?

when do you guys ever condem any tc or turk officer for doing anything? he could come and shoot a gc in the face and you would say its ok...

I have stepped in a few times to translate and once telling a police officer off at Ledra st for making an elderly GC lady wait in the heat, if we do not speak out things will never change.

its because of both sides condeming peace like the abuse and crap they are telling me now to tell me i am an idiot and whatever else they tell me. i bet the hard liner tcs are the same to any pro peace tcs

Whos condeming peace? we are living it for 36 years which is a far better and safer period than when we were left to rule ourselves.

if we left cyprus to the people shouting abuse like 5 year olds they would of taken cyprus to hell long ago, we would be worse off then greece, telling every one with a complaint to go f themselves and go to hell and the rubbish they say.. its them ppl that have given cyprus away to the turks people who think they can treat them like crap like animals and invite a huge army to come and kill us. keep acting like 5 year olds keep screaming abuse see how are you get...

Reunificaiton is greadually being accepted as a myth as we all know deep down it will never happen the chasm is just to wide to bridge apositive for the GCs is a negative for the TCs so we will never find middle ground, we all have to come to terms with it, Cypriots cannot find a solution and that we all have to go our own way.

Paliometexo, Bananiot, Viewpoint, thank you all for your support. I'm now wondering if I should have kept my mouth shut instead of starting this thread.

I honestly believed most of the responses would have been to ask me to excuse the rude officers conduct and that this was an isolated incident and perhaps such racist officers shouldn't be put on such duties. At least thats what I would have said if any of my GC friends were in the same predicament.

At least I have Paliometexo to thank for his understanding and sympathy. As for the rest of members comments, what can I say? We have them here in the UK, they are known as the National Front, BNP. They are condemned and detested by all decent law abiding citizens, I hope the likes of Get Real, Oracel B25 etc are the minority and are condemned by decent Greek Cypriots.

You could do yourself a favour, "Alan", and explain how you can live with a woman who screamed such instructions and abuse at you; yet, you condemn the simple actions of a stranger for merely forcefully returning a passport.

dont let them put you off posting anything you feel you have to say. they do it to every one who has posted anything like this.

best thing to do is ignore it because so many are put off get angry and stop using the forum.

and i fot it the wrong way round as b25 was so very quick to shout at me and call me stupid for getting you mixed up that your turkish and your wife is english.
