Why do you GCs try to make excuses and not just condemn this "police officer" even complain about his racists actions and that he should be removed from his post. If this is not done these people will just increase and take more agressive action. Its the same with your government offices are these people especially picked trained to be nasty? why do we have to put up with them?

AlanwithoneL, the GC's that responded in such a vulgar manner to your first post, are our equivalent to the Grey Wolves of the north. It is pointless to generalise but I assure you they are the worse examples of GC's.

I am afraid GR is going through a terrible period. This is what he wrote in response to a GC:

I have stepped in a few times to translate and once telling a police officer off at Ledra st for making an elderly GC lady wait in the heat, I would do the same again tomorrow, if we do not speak out things will never change. Plus I would feel really bad and protest if a GC was hurt in the TRNC by anyone as this is a reflection on us, unfortunately I do not feel the same coming from the GCs.
