First of all I'd like to thank those with messages of support. As for you Get Real, I came on here asking for opinions on my personal experience at Larnaca Airport. I stated I had enjoyed 2 weeks of holidays in Cyprus and had 3 lovely nights in Greek restaurants in the ROC. My wife and I enjoyed the food and the Greek hospitality on each visit and to be honest if we had the opportunity would have spent more nights on the Greek side.

This fact alone should have convinced you that I did not come here looking for a fight or an argument. I was hoping for a bit of sympathy and understanding from my fellow countrymen and perhaps some reassurance that my humiliation at the airport was an isolated incident and that there is a very good chance that we can reunite and get along like brothers and sisters.

You on the other hand have multiplied my problem and to be honest my experience with you far exceeds the one at the airport. The question then must remain, WHATS THE POINT. Btw, the fact that you think we shouldnt even be here is just plain madness so keep it real.

Alan, I can assure you that what you have suffered is not an exception. We all suffered similar when using Larnaca, they just can't help themselves. There is a serious problem with inbreeding which is why they are all born with one affliction or another. Some are ugly, some have big noses some women are hairy I can go all day. But you have to take the smooth with the rough. It's just that most of them are rough. But harmless. It's like a card game, they have just been dealt a very bad hand for 45 years. Can you blame them. The new cards they are getting are worse.

You certainly have a way of explaining things, and I like it . I can understand their frustration but what I don't understand is their attacks and insults on forum members. Because of my abuse from Get Real I thought I should look at some other posts by other Greek members to understand more about the forum. Quite frankly I'm shocked, the insults and hatred towards the TCs is alarming.

I honestly think they should try the softly softly approach, they should try and make all the TC members friends and win them over for their support and sympathy, instead they are distancing themselves more.

I always thought of the Greeks as great lobbyists and great diplomats but unfortunately some of our Greek friends here know nothing about diplomacy. Shame really.

Alan you have to look on the positive side of things at least Get Real is honest enough to show us the real face of the GCs, this is really how they think but they decieve us by putting on a positive face, at the first opportunity they would all turn on us TCs and become like GR and other repulsive examples we suffer on this forum every day. We should always keep this in mind when we are even considering uniting with these people who harbour nothing more than revenge for the past.
