Your 'Friends' will always inform you of your faults, the more direct they are in doing so, the more genuine.
A critical 'Friend' is vastly superior to a compatible one since the former expects nothing in return (other than the hope that criticism might help you to become a better person than you already undoubtedly are) whereas the latter may harbour feelings of envy (or other) and in reality hope for your downfall.
An 'Enemy' may wish you harm, you should guard yourself against such BUT, do have the good sense to recognize the differences between 'Good Friends', 'False Friends' and 'Enemies'.
You may regard me as your 'Enemy' since you constantly offer insult. in fact, such responses are the real reason for why I invite them (in the hope that I may help you see the light).
Finally, one should NEVER demean an 'Enemy' since it reduces the glory associated with the 'Victory' (should one overcome the 'Enemy') and here I would reiterate that I am NOT your 'Enemy', merely a sound critic and thus, a true 'Friend'. (IMHO) of course.
