Thomas Cook v Cyprus Airways

Postby miltiades » Mon Aug 16, 2010 2:55 pm

Once again I have ...resisted the temptation to fly Cyprus Airways August 24 th and back Sep 1st.
Booked with Tomas Cook at £301.47 , CA price same flight times etc £440.00 a hefty 46% more amounting to £139.00 or 28 bottle of red !!!
I know you get the freebies on CA etc but not worth £139 ( 166.00 eurs )
This will be my third flight in 7 weeks , total savings above £420.00 , any reason why one should support CA after all they are losing money !!!
Bring down the fares I say encourage more of us Charlies to use you on regular basis even though flying out of Heathrow is inconvenient for us South Londoners .
And here is the reason of my coming to Paradise Island , this gorgeous littlun will be a year old on the 25 th!! Hazopappous or what !!

the other companies can charge less because they dont have to fly through pafos where as cyprus airways has to fly back from pafos and waste fuel so they have to charge more..

the easy jet the greek man owns it. i thought it was an english man owned it but a guy called stelios owns it not cypriot man but greece greek

I paid £220 for a june flight with CA and have paid £230 for a sept flight out of Stansted with CA Thomas Cook and Thomson were both over £300 plus the fact they are charter flights and you have to fly on a 7 day basis as they only fly out of Stansted once a week with CA you can fly in and out any day

As Our Milti suggests above... for those of us in the CY Republic of Unoccupied North London, GTW is not as easy to get to as LHR.

For us as yet 'un-occupıed' South-Eastern reaches of Londinium, Gatwick will do nicely.

As for me Bill is Gatwick every time , 20 minutes !!
In fact the price by CA is £510.00 and not £440.00 as I posted , making a huge difference of £209.00 !!

Deniz , every one who has seen little Katerina has gasped in amazement at how much she looks like grandma . The eyes the hair the complexion...

The granddaughter is beautiful. Fortunately, she is unaware she has such an unpatriotic grandfather!
