Unpatriotic Brit here using Thompson to fly student daughter back next week - Thompson approx £220, CA doesn't bear thinking about!

But Cyprus gets more than the difference between those two airfares off of the likes of me every WEEK!

probably double. but i dont care about price its what is comfortable and better to use. i dont use ca because its patriotic i use it because its better services and i can speak greek instead of trying to understand the very fast english they speak. or being able to web check in and chose my seat all the way at the front 24 hours before flight or having meals included... small things that make the extra money worth it.. i would like to try ba one day also. if american airlines went from england to cyprus i would use that instead lol

BA lost my dog flying her out to Cyprus. I might pick and choose airlines based on small comforts people think they cannot t live without for the duration of a 4+hr flight if I didn't have to pay for flights approx 8 times a year!

You know what if everybody paid for their overweight suitcases instead of friends waving the extra fees ca wouldn’t be in so much trouble.

Personally I had a medical problem when flying ca but they refuse to let me sit in the empty first class seats so i could be near the toilets since i had an almost constant nosebleed.. However, as she was a friend of the airhostess she was allowed to sit and sleep in the empty seats with her friends.

so i Begrudgingly i choose them as my airline.

Never flown Monarch before so I'll let you know what the service etc is like

 Richard; is that 'bum on seat' style or are there any perks?
