Ryanair coming to Cyprus announcement tomorrow

Postby Milo » Tue Aug 17, 2010 3:08 pm

Very soon Milti you will have more choice of cheaper airfares :D mind you they may charge you for the loo  Good news for Cyprus imho
:D
NICOSIA – Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has agreed to include Larnaca in its destinations.
Hermes Airports Spokesman Adamos Aspris confirmed the decision, describing it as a “very important development.”
He said Ryanair’s presence on the island woud “further enrich Cyprus’ air connectivity with Europe and would be a catalyst in efforts to increase the influx of tourism to the island”.
Ryanair is scheduled to hold a press conference on Wednesday, August 18 in Nicosia, to announce the decision to start flights to and from Cyprus. Hermes Airports, the Cyprus Tourism Organisation and the government have been coordinating efforts to bring the Irish airline to Cyprus.
Ryanair is the third largest airline in Europe in terms of passenger numbers and the largest in the world in terms of international passenger numbers.

I have flown with Ryanair once to Citti...Citv.....Citavo.....a Rome airport  could,nt fault the flight at all and cost was 39 pounds return

Easyjet and Ryanair are competitors prices should now show that, I have been looking today for airfares next May for friends actually CA amongst all the others so far are the cheapest, but now we will wait and see what RA are going to charge.

Ryanair and budget airlines coming to a country on a regular basis has been proven to improve the property markets near to the airports they land in considerably. As being able to return on visits to UK cheaply is a decider on purchasing apparently.

There’s nothing more tiring than stingy Charlies counting their pennies!

One minute they claim they can buy & sell everyone and the next they’re complaining about the price of a cup of coffee and airfare!

Meanwhile, this time of the year there are “peasant” Cypriots all around the southern coastline in their seafront holiday mansions, lighting up their cigars with €500 bills just for their amusement! Image

 thought it was a 50

But, it may shock you to know, that after supporting Cyprus/Greece, the next bit of loyalty is reserved for UK, and after that the EU generally.

Nothing you post shocks me - I sometimes think that you make half of it up as you go along.................................................
