Would you like me personaly to step down as a moderator? If so, then say so, but you would be well advised to consider the old addage ' be careful what you wish for - you may just get it' in my opinion.

lol. erol i could care less if you are or are not a moderator. i am not here to tell you what to do. i am here to tell you that only the admin has the power to ban users from this forum?

just because your judgement stated that this specific user should be banned that doesnt meant you have the authority to do so. otherwise moderators can start banning any new membrs they might feel is inappropriate while the admin is gone and then justify it with the same arguments you are using.

Indeed this is the case. I have no ability what so ever to ban a user as a moderator. Onbly the admin can physicaly do that. I did not ban this user (the admin subsequently did). I removed their posts from the section I had the authority to do so in.

My judgement did not state this user should be banned. The user was ALREADY banned under previous user names.

No I do not understand what you are saying. A moderator has no ability to ban a user. I made no judgement about if this user should be banned or not, that can only be done by the admin both physicaly and 'morally'. I simply behaved in a manner that was consitent with my duties as I understand them and eith the fact that this user was ALREADY BANNED - a decsipon that had been made by the admin - not me.

what you did with this user then any moderator can do with any other new user that comes and posts offensive posts. although the banned users posts were offensive by aboiut 75% , 25% of them wer eand you went ahead and deleted those 25% as well, which you sohuld not have done imo.

anyway apparently this has become a touch subject for you so i say what happened happened and if you cant understand my point of view then lets not bother with this anymore and just lock this thread.

If that user has themselves admitted to being a banned user under a previosu username or some alternative proof of this exits, then YES no only imo can a moderator remove their posts they have a DUTY to do so imo.

How can you possibly know what % of their posts that I deleted were in themselves against the rules the rules or not?

What has become a touchy subject to me is you accusation that I banned a user - I did not and can not. What is a touchy subject to me is your accusation that I alone and personaly made the decision to ban this user - I did not and can not.

Would you not get touchy if I accused you publicaly of having done things that you did not do and could not physicaly do?

alright erol im sorry. you did not physically ban this member you just deleted all of their posts whether they were offensive or not.
