Not quite, but you do reach a point after a couple of years and realise that the last thing they want is foreigners coming over and telling them that they are doing things wrong,we are guests in anothers country.Traffic deaths here are terrible, 22 so far this year (I believe).
There is a dire need for road safety courses, locals laugh at expats who buy and use child seats, preferring to sit them on their laps.
