A memorial service was held in Paralimni for Tasos Isaak and Solomos Solomou, killed at a protest in Dheryneia in August 1996.

According to Famagusta Gazette: "Former MEP Yiannakis Matsis honoured the sacrifice of the two men in a speech at the funeral, followed by a service and wreath-laying.

Meanwhile, more than 500 motorcyclists, members of the 'Isaak-Solomou memorial initiative' travelled from Ayia Napa in a symbolic march to the memorial service. "

I wonder what happened to the search for the killers......

Well one of them was running for pseudo-MP in the last elections of the occupied areas.

The ones who beat up Tassos are probably still in the police force.....probably continued their death beatings with a few other poor souls that happened to stumble into their hands.
