The Turkish Cypriot airlines reduces its fleet
Turkish Cypriot daily Kibris newspaper (05.08.10) reports that an airplane used by the Turkish Cypriot airlines (KTHY) has been returned to an American company. The airplane, a Boeing 737-800 with passenger capacity of 180, has already been registered in the US Aviation Department and it will continue flying in the American skies. Kibris recalls that the above-mentioned airplane came to the northern part of Cyprus on 13 May 2009 with a pompous ceremony as the seventh aircraft of the KTHY. The paper writes that two other airplanes of the company, named Magosa and Guzelyurt, will also be returned to the owner company.
Does this mean more T/Cs will fly to Larnaca / Paphos?
