How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You TCs made a deal with the devil 55 years ago, and now he is cashing you out.

That's the biggest pile of steaming manure I've ever heard. Who says they made a pact?

More like the TMT sponsored by foreign agents silenced the T/C community into submission with the help of Georgadjis and EOKA B (also sponsored by foreign agents).....

Please don't write bollocks in future.

There is only one way you TCs can save yourselves ...

Move south.

Actually the only way you can stop loosing half of the island permanently is to stop pressuring us to move to places.

Only time will tell (probably not in our lifetime) and once the entire premise for the occupation (i.e. the TCs) has been eradicated by the occupiers, then we shall see.

Talk about yourself man, I still got at least half a century

Plus our total eradication from here (which the GC relentlessly work on) will be worse for you as you will have no one left there willing to live/bargain with you.

Try creating a federal state solution with Turkey

Turkey will annex the land and you will become the neo-Kurds, except you are filthy rich and rich people never take up arms, they just bitch, or pay others to do it.

In effect you are bringing your own end by making life hard for us, you should in fact make us as comfy as possible so that we wont have to "choose" Turkey, or "choose" to leave, leaving you to deal with Turkey.

Plus, I believe a lot of the TC's will return, as many of them have family here and choose to be there mainly for work.

Many did try to move back mate but were driven back here to start all over again because of the Embargoes. God forbid a hundred thousand TCs moving back home......That would have put the cat amongst the souvla

More than the embargoes, it was and is the settlers Zan. Pity you dont see that.

How so Deniz??

There is so much disaffection between settlers and TCs. Its ok to say they do get along famously, but its like as you say, ' is the glass half full or half empty'. There is not a few displeased TCs, from what I can see and hear of.

Of course there are some.........There are some in every country like Brits moaning about the Scots taking their jobs....I have heard it all...The people I mentioned moved to Cyprus in spite of the numbers of so called settlers. The economy was why they returned. They could not get work and most hoped that their family would follow but no jobs put an end to that. Sorry mate...You need to look further into why they leave and not just a few gripes.

I did say 'more than embargoes'. That's why I could not go to a job which was offered. The settlers issue is in addition to the embargoes at that time.

The second choice looks more promising.

Not from where we are sitting. In 10 years time you will have 80 million Turks on your door step to "negotiate" with, just one step away from the EU and ready to flood your part of the island goodluck.

Then you have to join forces with your GC brothers to stop the turkish sewage from coming to Cyprus.

So now we are brothers? why wasnt this the case when it mattered and you treated us as second class citizens.

Because your ancestors decided to become Turks and side with the enemy. Then it was just self-defense for us.

You were the majority against a minority yet you had no problems trying to push us to one side and turn us into second class citizens and give Cyprus to Greece it was us that had to fight for survival.

You started it. Remember those TCs in 1958 asking for partition/taksim?

Dwell on the past VP, I'm sure it gives you some sense of justification.

But the reality is that the Turks are eliminating you one by one.

Your future lies with the GCs in the south.

We made a choice in 1974 and the options are not enticing enough to alter that decision, we would rather become part of Turkey than a minority in a GC state ruled by GCs.
