HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN STARTS AT DAWN TOMORROW

Postby halil » Tue Aug 10, 2010 8:11 pm

The Islamic world enters the holy month of Ramadan as of dawn tomorrow. The Qur'an was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad during this month.

During the Ramadan, practicing Muslims across the world will be fasting during the hours of daylight.

Ramadan will continue for 29 days and will end with the start of three days Holy festival of Ramadan on the 9th of September.

The Night of Power, which is the actual night that the Qur'an was revealed, will be practiced on the 6th of September this year.

No worries, all the Turkish run kebab shops and restaurants will be open in North London business as usual.

As wells as the Turkish run off-licences and cigarette outlets.

Yes Ed, what's your point? Did you miss this bit?

During the Ramadan, practicing Muslims across the world will be fasting during the hours of daylight.

Or did you think ALL muslims were practising muslims?
