OZGURGUN CRITICIZES KYPRIANOU

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

OZGURGUN CRITICIZES KYPRIANOU

Postby halil » Mon Aug 09, 2010 8:36 pm

Foreign Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün has criticized his Greek Cypriot counterpart Markos Kyprianou who promised to the Greek Cypriot People to settle the issue of Maras(Varosa) through initiatives to be launched out of the negotiation process.
Özgürgün said that such attempts were harming the negotiation process. The Foreign Minister stressed that the issue of Maras(Varosa) could only be solved through negotiations to be held between the two sides, warning that the initiatives to be launched in the international arena could heighten tensions on the island.

“Attempts by the Greek Cypriot Administration to establish links between the issue of Maras(Varosa) and the Direct Trade Regulation are unacceptable”, said Özgürgün who reminded that the implementation of the regulation was a promise made by the European Union.
He added that it was out of question for the Turkish Cypriot Side to give any concessions for the approval of the Regulation.

Referring to Greek Cypriot leaders’ statements that a new set of proposals, which includes the issue of Maras(Varosa), was brought to the negotiation table, he criticized the Greek Cypriot Side for announcing the new proposals through the press before bringing them to the table and warned that such statements were poisoning the atmosphere of the talks.

Pls explain to his exelency the foreign minister of no state that EU promised or not can not proceed with the trade since such a movement is AGAINST THE INTERNATIONAL LAW- And official states or int bodies such EU (i accept he has not such experience how an official state is working) can not go against this law.Basic International law lesson. Free to his exelency with my regards.

But hey, if it keeps him busy, how else will he earn him keep.

Here, in this statement sums up the TCs in a nutshell, thus;

"He added that it was out of question for the Turkish Cypriot Side to give any concessions for "

Mate, who the F are you to give anything? Varosha belongs to us, you hold it by illegal means and you talk about concessions. Ha Ha F Ha.

the GC side shoud be telling you all where to and take a much harsher stance, instead of all this pussy footing about and giving you the idea you are actually somebody.

I hate the F lot of you. As Shahmaran would say.

How many you think love you? The feeling is pretty much mutual for both majorities - what does that tell you about the chances for a unification solution.

Only a military solution will rid this country of the Ottoman Cancer once and for all, because the good Lord is punishing the treacherous Cypriots for forsaking this holy land for abominable Greece… the mother of lies and deceit!

The Cypriots slept with the mother-whore and believed all her lies abandoning their history and denouncing their great ancient ancestors for fairy tales from far away, but now they have no option but to fight for their survival and only a great sacrifice through their blood can ever pay for their shameful crimes against their people and country!

The Cypriots MUST spill their blood to prove their loyalty to Cyprus, their worthiness of their great ancient ancestors, and to earn the respect of the world, or face gradual but certain extinction at the hands of their selfish neighbors who have no respect for this island’s rich and glorious ancient history.

Only when you’re ready to sacrifice yourselves for your country will you be able to conquer the Ottoman Cancer against all odds… but you must pay the price!

I have one question and it is very crucial for me. By Cypriots do you include Turkish Cypriots in this struggle? Or against them?

To me there is only ONE type of Cypriot… those who want a 100% liberated, democratic, one-man one-vote, EU Republic, because everyone else is just a little monkey running around who should be terminated!

Here's a better version:

To arms! To arms! ye soldiers,
The trumpet call obey!
Arise from dreary slumbers
To watch, and fight, and pray.

To arms! to arms! ye soldiers,
The trumpet call obey!
With Jesus as our Leader,
We’re sure to win the day.

’Tis not to rest, or banquet,
Or proud parade we go;
The fight of faith is fiercer,
Than worldly warriors know.

Against the powers of darkness
With fearful craft and rage,
Our heavenly Captain calls us
Incessant war to wage.

We’ll bless Thee for the battle,
We’ll glory in the strife;
We’ll shout at call of trumpet,
We’ll win eternal life.
