Seriously, If I was the cop in that car, I'd have done one of 2 things.

1. either run the bugger over

2. open the windo ajar and shot them both.

End of.

The owners would also get a massive beating.

Imagine a child out there with those monsters on the loose.

I was thinking the same thing. Unsupervised kids playing in the street would not stand a chance.
These dogs are like loaded guns just waiting to go off.
Not .22's where you can kick them and then run off but .375's where you're in the fight of your life.
I know a lot of dog lovers and pit bull owners would disagree with me.

The people that own those sort of dogs are either weeds, into dog fighting or drug dealers.

It's the owners not the dogs that are at fault, pits can be wonderful dogs

Pitbulls are superstrong terriers. It is no accident that old time breeders bred terriers small. No matter how sweet an animal is, at some point it will respond in the way which it is genetically equipped. In the pitbull that means lightning fast charges with a lot of power and tenacity.

I have a staffordshire terrier cross . she is the most placid dog I have ever seen. she may lick you to death but that is about it. It's all about who raises them .... dogs are good

It all comes down to statistics and if the statistics say that Pit-bulls maul the most then Pit-bulls are the canine public enemy #1!

Everything else is twaddle…

Andrea, the time comes when a dog will do what a dog does, and then the strength and tenacity of the pit bull makes a big difference. They are very hard to control.

Greeks are very fashion prone when it comes to dogs. In the 70 the fashion was boxers, in the 80 dobermans (dobermen?), in the 90 rottweilers, now it is pit bulls. It is panic stations when walking the dog and we come across a pit bull walked by a child or frail person. A wanker neighbor walks his dog while riding a bike, he has been pulled over more than once.

Unfortunately pitbulls can't play the 'race card' I'm afraid.
Its that simple. They were bred that way.
It's all about selective breeding that spawned this beast. Most aggressive with the most aggressive, the strongest with the strongest, most muscular etc.. and in turn, their offspring with the most aggressive and so on and so on.
Like GR said, its all about stats.
A silverback Gorilla is as tame as a kitten when its belly is full and there are no rivals, BUT... you get my drift.
