How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

DTA, I think you should see the photographs of the damage done by the TAF in Famagusta. I am not playing the Greek game but the evidence is there to be seen.

Simply do a google search.

Sorry, but in this case you have made an error.

But what really happened after the TA landed in 1974, was the GCs and G's forgetting their differences and uniting against a 'common enemy'. No GC would join or assist the TA more than the TCs would join the GCs to achieve Enosis.

Its a pity that someone of your intelligence and political acumen see it as simple as that.
When faced with facts 'draw a line under it.

Why are our leaders negotiating then. Wasting time?

No Deniz.....What I prefer is to watch one half of Cyprus progress whilst telling the world that I and my people are responsible for their woes through lies and propaganda and sit in my refugee camp without shoe laces for my shoes and food for my children whilst years and years of supposed talks go on.........After the first phase of the intervention of 1974 the two sides were talking and whilst that was going on the Greeks where reinforcing their positions even though they were told to stop. I wonder what would have happened f Turkey had not pushed them back even further and destroyed their armaments.....We have been talking ever since and still they use every opportunity to reenforce their illegal position through courts and resolutions....The one big chance they had of reunification they OXI'ed out of existence.

I have no problem with the two leaders talking but whilst they progress they hold us back so where is the fairness in that? Perhaps Piratis is their advisor and his three hundred year period egg sand timer has only just been turned over.........

and where is the fairness in keeping 200,000 people back from their homes? if you want to progress you better make the right decisions unite and you'll progress remember the whole Island is in the EU except those areas not under the control of the RoC government.

When you review your numbers of refugees through facts and recent court decisions and not from your propaganda books then we can talk numbers but until then anything you say will be regarded as being from a brainwashed fool with nothing to say...
