They are all quite well preserved and have been stripped off of traditional Cypriot doors.

My problem is that I cannot think of a suitable name for the shop and do wonder if any member might have a suggestion or two.

Thanking you in advance.....................Schnauzer.

A suitable name is the one you have come to be known by on the CF,
I suggest calling it after you , PLONOCKER .
Are you always this stupid or just now and every time.

Knobs and Knockers, has an alliteration to it that the British might like, it sounds like one of those quaint emporia aiming towards the tourist dollar after all.

Some good suggestions DANGAMAN, only problem is that another chap wants to open up part of the shop selling 'Ladies Underwear' and now I am really stuck for a name.

I will be selling doorknobs as well as the door knockers, I really don't know what to call the place.

Must dash off, taking a short break (about one week) see you all later.

How about Knocking knickers

Have just received an offer from a chap who is interested in cordoning off the land at the rear of the premises and reviving the business that was once there, a slaughterhouse for animals past their prime, the meat of which was made up and constituted as 'Dogfood'.

I really have a serious problem now, how to come up with a name which will cover ALL of the uses.

Any ideas folks?.

Already taken, http://www.diytools.co.uk/diy/Main/Shop2.asp?iShopID=3 , but seeing as we have Big Mac and KFC(Kyrenia Fried Chicken, based in Lefkosia/Nicosia), You'll probably get away with it
