Such sayings as these are well known to all of us YET, still we are apt to place credence upon that which we are told by politicians, furthermore, we even jokingly refer to those prone to telling lies, as either erstwhile or aspiring politicians.
It would appear that the bond which once united the people of Cyprus (Their cultural characteristics) has successfully been eroded by those 'Guardians of the TRUTH'.
