Were you to pose the question and restrict the candidates to THIS forum, I feel that you may have more success in discovering just WHO presents themselves as the 'Greatest British Cypriot', I have researched many of the contributions forwarded by those who profess to be true Cypriots, some I dismiss as mere claptrap but there is ONE contributor that I feel stands 'Head and Shoulders' above the rest and "I" nominate THAT person 'Miltiades' as THE greatest contributor

Sorry folks, I was interrupted before I could complete my post and had to leave town for a couple of days.

You will notice that there is no full stop and that confirms lack of completion.

Therefore, please add the following to the previous and you will have the whole message.

................of political sanctimonium and general old bollocks throughout his entire career ( since becoming one of the 'Lap Dogs' of the country which joined forces with others in the destruction of his own) and now seeks to blind us all with his 'New Found Patriotism'.

Who IS this chap?, this man of self imposed valour who would garb himself in the armour of 'King Leonidas' and present his countenance as such YET, would adopt the principles of 'Ephialtes' (he who led the Persians through the secret path of 'Anopaea') in order to destroy the very policies 'King Leonidas' and his valiant comrades were destined (through treachery) to die for.

Who is the greatest ?, I nominate the man who can see through treachery and political chicanery wherever it raises it's ugly head, such a one is STILL absent from the scene I fear.

Ofcourse I disagree with you completely about your choice. 'I am the greatest' of them all.

You lose points if by 'jockeying for position ' you tread on others' head.

You wont make a good politician. You must go around 'cuddling babies' and seeing' how the poor live' Afterwards you can show your real colours.
