Coming to a street near you soon ...

Postby Gasman » Sat Jul 31, 2010 5:24 pm

Already at the end of my street ... one of the old TC houses converted and all done up with enormous sign on it - Blue Diamond Live Casino - the sign says - Cyprus Live Casino.

And under the windscreen wipers of my car yesterday - a leaflet for Casino Royale - Roulette, Black Jack and Slots. 20 Euro bonus voucher.

So has the law changed? Or is this some 'special' Casino gambling (like the horseracing is)?

Because when it's on line, the governmet can't control and collect taxes from it.

On the big sign at the top of this establishment it says 'LIVE' Casino?

That's why I asked. If it is online gambling - why do they need premises?

And why would it say 'first'? When Online Gambling has been going on here for some time.

I was in my car - I will go down there on Monday and ask about it.

Gasman, I am sure you are well aware of the Cyprus gambling laws. It is obvious you started this thread just to point out that a TC house has been turned into a gambling establishment. It seems now that you are not just a stirrer but a shit stirrer.

It's not a very BIG establishment for a casino! And directly opposite the corner cafe where the old men sit playing backgammon and drinking coffee all day.

Think what you like. I started a thread asking about gambling in Cyprus a short while ago before any of this occurred.

BUT ... if a TC house has been turned into a gambling establishment (on or offline) why the hell shouldn't it be mentioned?
