You can get a clue as to whether they are TC houses here in the old TC quarter when you SPEAK TO THE GCs living in them and they tell you that only GC REFUGEES are allowed to live in them.

I know TWO TCs who have moved back into this area. The GCs never mention them.

And yes, it is another slight clue when they are in ruins!

Weren't you saying a couple of days ago that these properties were all being decorated/renovated?

So possibly one TC house has been turned into a casino, and how many GC hotels have gone the same way?

I don’t believe you went up to GCs and enquired if the houses they’re living in are TC properties! Why would a Brit want or need to do that especially considering that there’s an element of risk when digging up the past in a place like Cyprus?

That’s a daft assumption! A rundown property isn’t necessarily a TC property! There are a dozen reasons why a property may be neglected… ie: no beneficiaries, not worth repairing, legislation that prevents demolition, owners living overseas and never bothered to repair, and so forth!
