Opinion The world has forgotten the plight of Cyprus

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The TCs must be dancing in the streets over their victory over the GCs.

The island is partitioned and they have secured a homeland ... Hurrah!

But wait a minute!

The premise of the Turkish invasion (ie enosis) dissapeared a couple of days after the "peace operation" and that is the GC stance to this day.

The reason for Turkeys continued occupation is dissapearing with its policy of ethnically cleansing the north of ALL cypriot influences.

So what is the international going to make of the dissapearance of enosis and the inevitable disspearance of the TCs?

Not true.
Article 3 of the Treaty of Guarantee:
"In so far as common or concerted action may prove impossible, each of the three guaranteeing Powers reserves the right to take action with the sole aim Of re-establishing the state of affairs established by the present Treaty.
It had nothing to do with Enosis. The state of affairs of the prsent treaty haven't been re-established, so the continuing presence of the TA is covered by the treaty.

Sure. And which bit of the treaty of guarantee covers the continuing presence of greedy, stupid and immoral carpetbaggers, hoodwinked out of their grandchildren's inheritance in return for an opportunity to trespass on other people's property?
