How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What should we do, debate on who has the bigger criminals, should we go down the money laundering route?

I think we should consider that in the future, a criminal - let's say a thief, murdered, human trafiker, drug dealer etc. - on one side of the island that commits a crime can be communicated with the other side and that criminal can be pursued and thereafter caught. Would that be progress? I would say yes. Perhaps not the panacea but certainly an improvement to what we have now.

that is not what I asked , do known wanted interpol criminals either past or present seek refuge in N/C ,, because they know they are safe ????

Is this progress or not apc?

Answer the point of the topic, thereafter I will more than happily respond. In the future, if you actually want a response to a question, please ensure it is clearly posed as such, a review of your first few comments will illustrate my point.

Happy to hear it.

I don't like one little bit known criminals residing in our country. Gary Robb, was he a good influence, of course not. Asil Nadir, not a champion to TCs etc.

Any thoughts of crimes not being pursued in the south - not talking extradition but criminal activity politically covered?

man , two pints of what you are drinking , this thread is not about political crimes , if it was both governments would be locked up, I am talking of people on bail or under investigation skipping off to N/C to avoid deportation ..

the funniest thing is kenny noye went to jail rather than spend his time in N/C .....
btw tell his friends he won the badminton tourament last week .....

If I was having enjoying a drink, wouldn't be wasting my time on CF. Bored out of my skull which is why you have the pleasure...

It is a pickle the extradition issue I concur. Maybe this new process will strengthen responsibilities and cooperation enough to stop these criminals coming to our shores.

... but we're not just talking rogues who have embezzled money are we boys?

Be nice if some others could be brought before the Courts to answer questions in the matter of murder.

Here's one candidate...

Kenan I'd Do It Again Akin, wanted for questioning in the matter of the murder of our brother Solomos.

Anyone care to defend as to why this chap shouldn't be amongst those "exchanged" for questioning in this new co-operation?
