Looks like it's Lana's Sri Lankan friends waiting for her to come and cook their dinner.

So there are Sri Lankans with names less than 25 characters, after all?

In Larnaca, there is a hostel. Nicolaou Roussou 27 (near St. Lazarus church, opposite Livadhiotis Hotel). Tel. (+357) 24-62-11-88 (Phone is not always answered, but reservations are NOT necessary.)

There used to be one on Troodos and one in Nicosia but the asshole lawyer who ran them lost one and closed the other.

In Limassol, I run the Luxor Guesthouse/Hostel www.luxorlimassol.com

Best price I have for a Nicosia hotel is approximately 35 Euros for a Single at the Adelphi Hotel, 24 Costakis Pantelides Street (near the Solomou Square bus station) Tel.: 357-22-55-52-11 -- Fax: 357-22-67-56-78

An inexpensive hotel in Paphos is the Trianon at 99 Makarios Ave. Tel. (+357) 26-932-193 (Phone is not always answered, but reservations are NOT necessary.)
If the Trianon doesn’t suit, a couple of doors to the left, at # 91 is the more up-market Kiniras Hotel (Tel. +357 – 26-941-604 and mobile: 99-966-011).

And sorry, but no, I don’t know their current prices.

Hope this helps.

Just trying to help.

The hotel in Nicosia doubles as an hourly rental place, yes.
STILL ... if anyone can inform me of cheaper overnight accommodation in Nicosia, I'd appreciate it. Emails to: [email protected]

BTW, an alternative is to cross the border ands stay in a cheaper (but grungier) place in the North. Just walk around the old city and look for signs.
