Omonia fans holding trnc and turkish flags....WTF?

Postby thegame24 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 8:27 pm

I saw on a greek football forum that certain omonoia fans hold up turkish and trnc flags when playing apoel.

What kind of shit is that? Sure you can be against enosis but being anti greek and holding scum flag thats just wrong.

What is the reasoning?

It is my belief that all football clubs in Cyprus should send letter inviting young players playing for the trnc cubs to take up posts in the internationally recognised clubs of the RoC ..... that would be a move toward unification.

No doubt, the flags would have been summarily scorched! 8)

I'm with Humanist. The Cyprus problem can be resolved through unifying soccer fans. If the existing clubs have too much baggage maybe a new club should be formed. I invite a Turkish Cypriot to contact me so we can make a joint application to Stelios.
