They can only get funds if they get punters. A lot of those punters are GCs from the RoC.
A lot of them ain't "GCs".
It's people like gasbag and other Brits who want to "taste Turkey" without, effectively, leaving EU territory. I've said before, if Brits come over to Cyprus (legitimately) they shouldn't be allowed to "cross over". It's a bit of a laugh or a game to them to feel the "excitement" of such an adventure. Yet, they are the ones who turn round and accuse GCs of carrying out these activities.
I agree, but why should other eu citizens e.g Cypriots be allowed to cross.....you cannot have it both ways since joining the eu,
Joining the EU and the continuation of the occupation by gun-toting Turks who would racially segregate Greeks as worse than the plague, makes this situation a whole lot different to a normal EU zone.
So, I reiterate -- one of our greatest dangers comes from these slap-happy Brits/tourists or "workers" who can work anywhere "wherever there is Internet access" and so fleet back and forth as it suits them tapping their propaganda on their laptops and enjoying the "divide" like some sick "Somerset Maugham" ....
absolute bo**ocks... no one can have their cake and eat it( twice)..
you yourself enjoy freedom of movement between countries being married to a uk national (sorry for this term mr O ) , If people feel so strongly doNOT cross the green line, if you do keep your euros in your pocket, jcc only provide card details of money spent how much "grey" cash passes hands there ...........
I can assure you no bloke goes to the knocking shop there and puts it on his credit card ..................and i guess most of the casino money is cash................
best thing to do is not go/spend.................
