Not a great deal of difference between the two really, BOTH are dedicated to their own way of thinking, set in their ways and impossible to reason with. :lol: :wink:

I don't understand trunks. To me and you, they mean the Speedo things. To our friends across the pond a trunk is the boot of a car. :?

Z4, allow me to explain. Language is a dynamic thing, always changing. Trunks, in my father's time, referred to what men wore when they went swimming. My generation doesn't use the word as such. And yes, now it is more commonly understood as the storage compartment at the rear of a car. "Speedo things" are unique unto themselves. If you're not a competitive swimmer, you shouldn't be wearing them! Eeewww! We have a nickname for these. If your interested, PM me.

Asian languages. Mandarin,Cantonese & Japanese maybe even Korean.
