why do the turks still stake a claim in cyprus? its not even greece vs turkey now its more cyprus vs turkey, if greece can back out why dont the turks? fact is turkish cypriots are a minority just like im a minority in england but i dont go around claiming i own the country

Why should our flag have muslim symbols or the colour red? why should our anthem mention anything to do with turks?

So yea why do turks of turkey think they have rights? because the barbarian ottomans invaded us? even then christian cypriots were the majority.

Another point is why dont other countries give a shit about cypriots? how can cyprus be occupied illegally for so long and how dare they blame cyprus for rejecting the blackmail plan, i mean annan plan.

Why is it so hard to come up with a solution?

1. Turkish troops, fuck off and dont drown on your way out.

2. Take those 100 000+ gypsies back with you, your county is big enough.

3. Turkey must bear the cost, not cyprus or greece, of these people returning to turkey.

4. Must apologise for its years of barbarianism in cyprus and europe.

5. Turkish cypriots should be given equal rights but there should not be a guaranteed turkish cypriot president or vice presisdent.

6. Have a vote on the island whether anthem should be changed, flag should be chaged etc. If anthem stays greek, tough shit, everyone has a fair vote.

7. Turkish cypriots should learn greek, the national language, but should not be denied the chance to learn turkish on weekends in turkish schools.

8. Any racist crimes against turkish cypriots or cypriots should be punished harshly.

The problem that I see hard to solve is the housing situation, sure we can reclaim our houses in the north, but what about the TCs? where would they go? It would be unfair if they claimed back their homes in the south as they are worth far more now wheras as the north is a shithole. Maybe the turks should also give money to the TCs. This one im baffled on, what do others think about the housing situaton.

Im a dude, been really into the whole Cyprus issue recently, lived in England since 1 year old but now im really getting pised off since i went cyprus last year and went to the raped part in lefkosia and having to show my passport to get in really pissed me off.

Really annoyed with the world as well and also our leaders who seem to be pussies. Turkey should not have any involvement with cyprus let alone negotiate with them.
