Aussies stay in Earl's Court, please!
Do the Finsbury Park Kafenia still allow all-hours gambling and smoking?

I've been reading up on the division of north london. Incompetent Cypriot councillors, appointed by loony-left, political-correct Haringey, had brought the borough to a virtual stand-still. Most of them couldn't even speak English!
But they still insisted Cypriots get more of their fair share of lucrative jobs locally in the flourishing dress factories and fast food eateries. The Mayor had to take action to stop these privileges and enable the borough to function properly.
Of course, the Cypriot councillors, backed by mainland Cyprus (which had had designs on north London, especially Alexandra Palace because of its strategic location), were up in arms and put a spanner in the works. Taxes couldn't be raised, schools had to shut, refuse wasn't collected.
Something had to be done or north London would have collapsed. After a big bust up, the selfish Cypriots withdrew from government in a strop and went into coffee shop enclaves along Green Lanes to play cards and talk about the old days...
