36 Years now on 15th of July, we all hear the speaches and theories (even from persons who had not birthed in 1974, to remind us about the Greek Junta regime's coup against the legal goverenment of Cyprus and which lead to the Turkish invasion and today's status.

All these years I am just wondering , are these people blaming Junta, EOKA B -or the Greeks of Cyprus wishes and aim until 1974?

If ,some of you, did not hear about, or you did not want to hear, until late 60's the 90 per cent of G/cs were fighting for union with Greece.Particularly before 1960, any G/c who was against Union with Greece was considered by all main leadesrship, including Makarios, as a trator.

Suddently some fascists (after the death of Grivas!!!!) decided that they can represent the G/cs wishes and feelings and,because of lack of any other serious representative of these wishes they suceeded.

Their patriosm ended with cheap steelings of people's valued items in empty villages when Turks were close and people left their houses unlocked and open.(personally i now some of them by their names).

Now, i can not still understand what we are blaming? The wishes of the people or the micky mouse people suceeded to represent same?

My thesis is complecated to be understood for the simple reason Cyprus history is complicated itself!!

I agree, question is simple.
blame these who used the wishes of G/cs just to satisfy their terrorists actions or to blame people wishes and feelings?

we just choosed the second. We left free the terorists and we just destroy/destroying the peoples hopes and worst- we try to change people's wishes and feelings.
