How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

All that crap about voting for a TC President in a rotating system as was put forward and I was never clear on it anyway was convuluded.

All Cypriots need to live freely, equally and democratically. The only compromise I think that needs to be made is that of moving TC's around especially in cases where the GC refugees are not going to be moving back to their homes because they have made bigger and better ones. And I have lots of relatives who will not move back to their home in their villages of origin but do want their land back not necessarily the house.

In short hand Cyprus to the GCs on plate.

in short give in to turkey and let them have two states in cyprus and control over all of it and us nothing in the north ? the north is being very good to us are they not? very good of them to offer us these deals of full control over us and two states but us get nothing and like it? why?

THis is for VW and Bananiot.

"The fact that they bailed him BEFORE knowing what the US would do is the issue, not what happened in the event."

The USA is a nation of lawyers. If they wanted the guy held on espionage charges they should have transmitted the proper Indictment to the Cyprios authorities. In fact the charges the Cypriots received were for the laundering of a small amount of money. Nothing was in the charges re spying.

If Cyprus had held him then the result would have been what exactly? That he would have been released directly for repatration to Russia. You two should read the story in the various news services and the BBC from the first to the last. ALL THE ACCUSED were swapped and ALL CHARGES dropped.

And there is no comparison between the spy case and the two arrested in Famagusta. You are both trying to excuse a petty and vindictive act based on purely racist considerations.

It is ludicrous VP, this appears to be the new argument, Pratis went on about it for ages until he realised he had no basis to justify it. For the life of me it has no logic.

Your gestapo way of ruling the north for selective EU citizens is a mockery to mankind. Your laws HAVE to get fixed before you do.

What like most of the biased one sided posts we see on this forum, is that EU citizen or mankind enough?

All I'm asking for is a justification of the argument, before you get your knickers in a twist.

The Orams case says otherwise. The Jennifer Lopez debacle, likewise.
