Well you did ask a general question about TCs so naturally I gave a generalised answer. It's fair to say, the number of TCs who fully appreciate this colonial privilege concept and the damage it's done to Cyprus over the last half-millennium are few.

Instead of an animal, I could have used the more human analogy of a child that kept soiling his underpants, because he'd never been properly potty-trained. Perhaps I opted for the dog soiling the carpet, because I had - in the back of my mind - the monstrosity that's been shat out onto the Cypriot landscape up north.
