Why the Native GCs will regain ALL their lands ...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Stuff the lawyers....

Postby cymart » Tue Jul 20, 2010 6:46 pm

We have had enough in Cyprus of lawyers who spout nonesense and earn fat salaries, often on the backs of refugees, taking their money for cases while promising them justice, etc etc, achieving nothing in practice and also pretending they are good politicians! What a clever way to maintain the status-quo by refusing to compromise and peddling false hopes to a shrinking number of people while also doing very nicely thankyou!
I still say that the best President we ever had was George Vass. who not only saw the truth but wasn't one of their cronies!

So, 'ALL' their land?

Including almost ALL of Kyrenia then?

*and I don't have to 'troll' anywhere to find the 'TRNC' being more often now referred to as 'under Turkish control', as I said, even your stated favourite news medium - the BBC - has used the term.

I wonder why the shift?

Pedantics are usually so important in these matters.

Careful cymart, the knives will be out if you talk such treason...

I'll agree with you on the uselessness of our set of cronies.

Is he not the greedy entrepreneur who opened the gates to tens of thousands of foreigners so that his multiple enterprises would at long last have 3rd world cheap labour, and now we’re faced with a major unemployment rate never before experienced in Cyprus?

who not only saw the truth but wasn't one of their cronies!

I haven't even started about Vasiliou but I think its best that you not post again on this matter.

The land is issue still confuses me if there ever was unification.

The refugees deserve to get their land back or get compensation from turkey but the tcs also need compensatation, well those that are left anyway.

whats the turk to tc ratio now?

I was only referring to the Cyprus problem:if he had been re-elected there would have been a solution in the 1990's on the basis of the Ghali suggestions which were far better than anything ever suggested since then!

thegame24,
You seem different today, maybe you're not cast from the same mold as some of your extremist countryfolk.

1. Still confuses everyone - in general, can't avoid large repatriation, significant exchange, some sales and purchases and numerous leases. Something along the lines of the Annan Plan will be inevitable.

2. Agreed

3. If you mean TCs living in TRNC before 1974 + children vs nationalised TCs immigrated since 1974 + their children born in TRNC , I had it at 3:2 , the latest ramblings of the idiot Serdar Denktas was 1:2. Barring an official census it is all a guess.

Why? They have enjoyed much which was not their own, all this time.

If they were tricked, they were tricked by Turkey! Traitors. Let them take it up with their "motherland" -- better still, let them return to her over-sized embrace.

Plus i also mention that housing is difficult to restore in my original post.

Which is why turkey must bear the cost of compensating everyone (it still shocks me that the annan retard plan absolved turkey of all blame)

End of the day TCs lived in cyprus before aswell, if they asked for the split then shame on them, but not all did.

I live in england, if cyprus invaded england (lol) then 40 years later relinquished, i shouldnt be forced out as ive lived here for years. The gypsies and ethnic turks ,however, deserve to go.

It makes me wonder who will hate turkey more if cyprus is sorted fairly, the tcs or the turks shoved over hear with no money and nowhere to go.
