Yeah but it depends on what you mean by minding!! Greece would say "look at them they open a war if we expand but they expanded now" and make herself the victim!! So I think it is good how it is now!!
PLUS Turkey has no plans of expansion, and it never had, so why make it now!!

TRNC is not part of Turkey.

you are right. it is just occupying it, maintaing its troops and financially supporting it - the same way any other of its prefectures. im also assuming that the "trnc" flag is unique and has nothing to do w/ turkey as well

MT, TRNC is a country, I don't care how the flag was made or where it came from, so what if Australia has a piece of UK flag in it(just an example, it may not be correct), that doesn't mean UK is occupying that country or UK is together with that country!! So what if we are financially supporting it?? Every country supports another country financially, sometimes even terrorists for its cause! Yes we have troops there like US does in Incirlik, Turkey, but US isn't occupying Turkey!!

my my defensive there.
countires do support other countries but ONLY turkey is supporitng north cyprus the same way ONLY turkey supports its other Turkish prefectures/states.
also australias UK flag is a sign of the fact that it was once occupied by the uk and shows the bitch/butch relatinoship between australia and the UK. also the US OWN the US bases in Turkey. They are part of american soil, the same way north cyprus has become part of Turkish soil.
