Fuel prices in the TRNC have dropped following a price hike earlier this month. The price of Euro diesel has gone down by 51 kuruş, the price of Diesel by 6 kuruş and the price of petrol by 2 kuruş.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Economy and Energy Fuel prices in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will now be determined according to fluctuating international stock exchange prices.

According to the new prices unleaded Petrol (97 octane) now costs 2.080 TL, unleaded Petrol (95 octane) costs 2.060, Euro diesel costs 1,099 TL and diesel oil costs 1.74 TL.

Kuru is an incurable degenerative neurological disorder (brain disease) that is a type of transmissible spongiform encephalopathy causing delusions -- and hence found mostly in people illegally occupying properties belonging to others.
