Thank you for the support I was beginning to think all the people here on forum were awful people.

When I said I was a qualified pool cleaner that did not necessarily mean I would do the actual cleaning. I was thinking along the lines of dropping the good lady off to do the job whilst I stood guard in the kafenion.

I woukd also be able to drop her off to do gardening , fence painting , stonewalling and any other odd jobs such as apartment cleaning do you think there would be a call for these skills?

No, you will never get a job.

Take their advice and clear off

Hey shut it!!!

BTW Are you using your apartment at the end of August? I need accomodation near Limassol around 27th Aug for a week

I don't know what your on about - I'm going on holiday to Paphos. Good luck with the job hunt!

Well if you're going to Pathos can I squat in your place in Pissouri for a week.

I'll get the missus to redecorate for you! and leave the money under the carpet for damages

I use my local tradesmen and my local shops.

Unfortunately I already have a VERY good looking GC pool cleaner!

Do you have any other talents? Elvis impersonators do well, but I am not so sure about up in the Troodos area.

If all else fails, you can set yourself up as a mobile hairdresser and advertise on all the forums and in the Cyprus news magazines. You don't need any training - most of them haven't had any!

I heard that there is a shortage of hairdressers in Polis.

The Sikhs have the right idea ... 8)

Why don't Sikhs cut their hair?

...acceptance and living as nature intended, sustaining the individual in higher consciousness. The unshorn hair is regarded with the highest importance in the Sikh religion and is one of the basic requirements for a Sikh. Dishonouring one’s hair is one of the four Bajjar Kurehats (cardinal sins), which the Guru has told a Sikh never to commit. A Sikh doesn’t disfigure their hair from head to toe because of the Guru's order to maintain the sanctity of the Kesh.
