Sorry you've let this put you off using the forum Jackie. GR cannot help himself - I think he has become possessed recently by the spirit of someone who could not stop being rude and spouting obscenities in every post they made! I was quickly told to fuck off the forum when I joined! As you can see I didn't but I agree with you - it's not a very nice place for newcomers.

One or two of the regs float their boat by being rude to newbies.

In response to the original poster's question, my uneducated guess is between 45-65 euros. This is how much i was quoted for larnaca to limassol, which is a similar distance, maybe a bit further. Am i right in saying that taxi drivers don't actually use meters here, you just agree on the price beforehand, meaning there is potential for haggleification...?

I was actually being serious! If I’m going to spend 1-2k euros for a holiday, a taxi fare would be the last of my worries! :roll:
