You come up with Nazis etc. but bottom line is GCs didn't want us in our new united Cyprus. There was ethnic cleansing and apartheid orcestrated by GCs. All your rhetoric does not obfuscate those actions.

I am not here to claim all innocence for TCs, but to remind people not to buy into the garbage you are selling on the blame game that is Cyprus politics.

When are you going to admit that the 1960 constitution was already broken when it was created with it's provisions of non Democratic system, apartheid, Human Rights violation which was a pretext for Enosis and Taksim to take place. If Enosis and Taksim was not a factor, then the 1960 constitution would have been just as democratic as any other country in Europe. You can thank the supporters of Enosis and Taksim for the creation of the 1960 constitution, which were Turkey, Greece and UK and their Nationalist supporters.! Today however, only Taksim is still alive and well. Until the Taksim dream is also extinguished, there can never be democratic Cyprus which means no peace. This would have suited the Taksim supporters to be the case, but with the entry of the RoC into the EU in 2004 with 100% of the territory of Cyprus also in the EU, has thrown the "monkey wrench" into the Taksim dreamers. The only thing would have kept the Taksim dream alive with all of it's benefits, would have been the acceptance of the Annan Plan in 2004 or anything remotely close to another AP type of a plan in the future. It will not happen. Either full democratic Cyprus for all Cypriots or the status quo, because anything less, will mean Taksim will be yet achieved by the Taksim dreamers.!

Kiks, why not ask Pratis if he condemns Archbishop Makarios for signing the 1960 Constitution. This was a 'contract' and should have been adhered to and the GCs should NOT have attempted to make changes 'unilaterally'. But mentioning the 1960 Constitution is pointless isnt it? Its been broken a zillion times and beyond recognition. Why mention it at all. (I know it was not you on this thread who mentioned it first).

Acikgoz, dont you know Piratis is a robot? His brain only works the way it is programmed/brainwashed.

'Nuh der. Peygamber demez'.

Hi Deniz,

I think Piratis will argue, that no "contract" is legally valid when it is imposed on anyone when the persons imposing the "contract" were holding a "loaded gun " to the head of the person to accept it. Surely no sane person in their right mind would accept a "contract" of any kind that is designed to commit suicide, unless the choices were, that you can either "die" now or live a little longer and "die" later. We would all choose the second option in the hopes to change the"contract" at later stage with all those involved so to survive, which was attempted, but to no avail to change the "contract", but still alive and staying alive to draw a new "contract" where "suicide" is no longer imposed on Cypriots. I think that's what Piratis will tell you, Deniz. Perhaps I'm wrong and he would have chosen option one for Makarios for him to be "killed" right away than accept a "suicidal illegal contract".!

Who was holding which gun to whose head...That guy with the funny hat that was screaming for ENOSIS.......What bastards......Give me some names and I will hunt them down...

Freddie! You're back!.....

Oh! so when Kiks mentions it, it is fine
but when I reply Freddy springs to mind

Makarios was blackmailed into signing. Why else do you think he would sign something that neither him neither the vast majority of the Cypriot people liked? Can you give me a logical answer?

The constitution of a country should be written be the democratically chosen representatives of the people of the country. Not being written by foreigners and imposed on the people of the country.

Today the Turks are trying more of the same: They illegally keep 1/3rd of our homeland as HOSTAGE and they are trying in this way to BLACKMAIL us to sign something that would benefit them even more on our expense. Even if we gave in and signed what they are trying to force on us, do you think we would be morally obligated to adhere to something that was forced on us by means of brute force and blackmail and which goes against democracy and our human rights? Definitely not.

Cyprus deserve its freedom from foreign Imperialists, and deserves democracy and human rights like in every other EU country. We will not settle for less and we will not accept anachronistic Ottoman style arrangements that would give privileges to the Muslim minority on the expense of the vast majority of the Cypriot people.

So Pratis, we are still left without the explanation of who began the ethnic cleansing and apartheid of OUR CYPRUS.
You keep giving me fluff. In your face with your lies and propaganda. If anything what you've written reads quite clear that your fluff is the justification for the ethnic cleansing and apartheid of the Turkish Cypriot citizens of Cyprus.

The explanation was given very clearly. If you didn't get it yet then maybe you have some learning disability problem. And then Deniz complains that I constantly repeat things. But what else can I do when I deal with retards who are unable to acknowledge undisputed facts and continue to parrot the propaganda they have been brainwashed with?

So lets do it once more:

Turks invaded Cyprus and murdered 20.000 people in Nicosia alone on September 9, 1570 (answers the question "who began the ethnic cleansing). What followed were 308 years of oppressing the Cypriot people. The Turks gave to their own Muslim Settlers (now called Turkish Cypriot) much more rights than what they allowed to the local Christian population (answers your question about apartheid).

In 1957, 79 years after the end of Ottoman rule, the Turks created the plan of partitioning Cyprus. The plan of partition was a plan of ethnic cleansing and forced segregation of the population of Cyprus along ethnic lines. In July 1958 the Turks initiated the inter-communal conflict by committing the first massacre in recent times, and by burning down the shops and homes of innocent Greek Cypriots. The aim of the Turks with the inter-communal conflict was to divide the population and create the circumstances that would allow their planned invasion. By means of brute force and blackmail they forced a lot of their segregation and racist discrimination demands into the constitution of Cyprus which they imposed on the Cypriot people.

In 1974 the Turks put into action their plans that existed since 1957, and performed the ethnic cleansing and the segregation of the population by force.

Today, 2010, the Turks insist on segregation, discriminations based on ethnicity, and a so called "solution" based on the results of ethnic cleansing.

Who began the ethnic cleansing and apartheid are the exact same ones that want ethnic cleansing and apartheid today: The Turks.

What we want today is the same thing we always wanted: The Freedom of Cyprus from foreign imperialists so we can democratically decide the destiny of our own island.

Well thank you for proving my point. Turkish Cypriots did not begin the apartheid and ethnic cleansing of OUR CYPRUS, it was the Greek Cypriots, Mak the knife in the TC heart's 13 points, the destruction of law and the usurped constitution, Akritas EOKA militia legalised embargoes on TCs, the treatment of them as 2nd class citizens, the destruction of villages, the murder of innocents.
Without having a full script, you will always be running a corrupt program - propaganda robot.

It's still got to be better for the TCs, being 50% rather than 12%, hey Ban! Stop worrying for them.

... As for the Settlers, they will all be deported. Too bad if there are no TCs left when that happens. Well, if they won't help us remove the enemy, they are part of the enemy.
