SETTLERS OUTNUMBER TC's BY 2 TO 1

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

So why were the Cypriots that wanted Enosis not get exterminated from 1963?

If you wanted Cyprus to be one whole, then you must have hated the Makarios 13 points in the backdrop of the GC national cause of Enosis.

Interesting to see you flipped your lid after I said I did not believe you GR want the death of TCs. Thereafter GR you are hell bent on showing them all that you are an ultra nationalist, lest you look weak amongst your peers.

Pratis cannot show it was the TCs that began the ethnic cleansing and apartheid in OUR COUNTRY.

I'm sorry to hear of your father Acikgoz but as you must know both sides murdered Cypriots from their own side as well as those from the other community, how do you feel about TMT that murdered their own, are they not as guilty as those who murdered your father?

As for ethnic cleansing in Cyprus, it actually started before 1960 when Turkish Cypriots pushed GCs out of some areas in an attempt to create separate municipalities - the first step towards partition.

Jerry, we also know the GCs killed each other in 1974 and some of their deaths were blamed on Turkey.

I had one objective and that was to see if there was any justification for the claims that TCs started the ethnic cleansing and apartheid in Cyprus. The basis of 1960 is vital given it was a time when both parties had made an agreement on how Cyprus was to be governed. We are now talking post-British colony, we have no-one else to blame but the inhabitants of the island. Slate clean, let's move forward and let's see if we can make it work.

What I am told by the people on this forum is that 1963 was payback for '58. There was always partition of sorts and differentiated organisations all over the place for Turkish or Greek Cypriots, this was nothing new. The TC football team Cetinkaya was stopped from playing at Nicosia stadium in '55. Separate municipalities were part of the constitution signed by Mak the knife on behalf of his GC people. We elected our own leaders back then remember.
Pratis goes on about '58 because he cannot defend GCs over who destroyed the peace in '63.

I am not out to paint GCs as the bad guys, I am out to show that our history has GC bad guys too, and deny deny deny just does not work, it just makes liars out of those that choose to speak half truths.

If someone makes an agreement with you and then renegs on their word, signed word for that matter, and then stabs you in the back, well I would say that is a title deserved.

How have I heard Denktas described yet not sought to defend him on his less than social behaviour? Defending the known guilty is not required by those that wish to see history discussed according to the facts.

Full of reason? Yes. Full of hate? I'll leave that to the likes of GR, O, Bill, idiot Ed, etc..

You've really hurt my feelings now

Considering Turkey has reneged on almost every signed agreement it has made ...
