Maybe one of the considerations was that it would make it more attractive for mainland Turks to move to the 'TRNC' if they could earn more money there?

Did you take 'into consideration that the cost of living is twice as high as Turkeys and the majority of goods we use are from Turkey so what they give us actually goes back to them in bigger amounts.

HEY HEY HEY!!! Don't you be bringin this domestic in here!

TRNC has always had a hight standard of living then Turkey well before the AP and the opening of the Green lin, with the possible exceptions of some of the better areas if Istanbul.

Funnily enough, you’re all for it when the US bribes half the world so why shouldn’t Turkey follow the leader’s example?

It looks like Kikapu fails unkie GR’s Cyclic Cucumber Penetration (CCP) test again!

USA or Turkey can bribe whom ever they want. That's not the point here. The point is those who accept such bribes and payments like whores should also know that there is no such thing as free lunch. There are always strings attached to such payments and bribes. Accept such "gifts" at one's own peril. That was the point, GR.!

GR, I can see you are struggling to save face with your many blunders recently, but bringing cucumbers into the discussion is hardly the place. Save it when you play "guess the vegetable" game with YFred when taking turns using the blindfolds on each other.!
