How to contact the Admin?

Postby kyp » Tue Jul 06, 2010 11:14 pm

Hi

I'm new to the forum and have checked several threads on how to contact Admin but why isn't the default setting that you can just pm right from the start?

I tried to send a pm to Admin and surprise, surprise I got the same message as when I had tried to pm another member in response to a pm I had received.

This is a nonsense! And its all very well having FAQ's but if they don't assist properly, then users should have recourse to a properly constructed "Help" database.

I read something that suggested you need to post a number of times before pm becomes unlocked. Well "Hello" ? there are some of us out here who may prefer to read rather than post so where's the logic in that?
All the same, the civilised thing to do is respond when someone else has pm'd you. So unless someone in "Admin" takes notice of this I fear the intended recipient of my thwarted pm will be waiting a very long time.......

There are other forums out there

The first posting that 'Kyp' made was on 2nd July 2010 and was in response to a request by 'Pisces1' for any information about the purchase of a 'Kayak'.

'Kym' indicated that he might be able to assist him (He being in the business) and it is rumoured that 'Kyp' manned a 'Second Hand' example and took it to sea for a test before selling it.

Unfortunately, whilst demonstrating the technique of 'Rolling the Kayak', the paddle slipped from his hands and he found himself 'Upturned' and unable to right his position.

The outcome needs no further comment BUT, if the rumours are correct, they explain why we have not heard from 'Kyp' since that fateful day in late September of 2010.

Perhaps other members might know more about the sad event.

As to 'Figgy's revival of the topic.................... 'Easily done when one has nothing better to do'
