computer problem

I wish we would be informed when a new plugin requirement arises.

It cost me lots of time fixing my access to the site today, time that could have been saved if the plug in requirement had been known.

Shucks!

It started yesterday. When I access the site it starts refreshing over and over. Today I installed Firefox and it asked me for a plugin, Adobe Flash player update. Which I did, but the problem is still there.

Never had problems in the past.

This is the message I get when I try to post. One of my posts tonight was half of what I typed.

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Nikitas, take the following steps to rectify your problem…

1. Download ATF Cleaner from here

http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1

Run it and choose… “Select all” followed by “empty selected”.

NOTE: If you’re using Windows 7 unclick “prefetch” first!

2. Download, install, update, and scan with Malwarebytes from here…

3. Get back to me with your news.

Scanned the system with the downloads. Also scanned earlier today with Norton. Nothing found.

The thing is this problems started from the time that Windows did one of those automatic updates yesterday.

Time to buy a Mac I think.

Nikitas, download and run “Hijack This” form here…

http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/ ... ckThis.exe

Choose “Do a system scan and save a logfile”

Now post the contents of that logfile here…

This is a good program. It works if you know how to use it. You can also download it from here:
