any members served in the merchant navy , I trained in Sharpness at the Vindicatrix school in 1967 then went to sea with the Blue Star Line my ship was th Dunedin Star.

Blue Star Lines! That evoked some memories from years past. I used to date an engineer who worked for Blue Star. Not sure where he is or what he does these days though.

Merchant navy???? Blue star is just a truck navy not merchant- the owners are just called "fortigatzides"
