Each case is viewed individually, and well you know it. I've already asked if such a "spy" would have posed an immediate danger to the Cypriot public (as would perhaps someone charged for suspected murder). Obviously the Judge thought he did not pose a danger and granted Bail. That is what our (English) legal system demands.
Now, if he was a
Turkish Spy, collecting espionage against the RoC, the matter would have rightfully been different.
Then we could complain if he was let off with Bail.
What are we? The USA's poodles?
