I've worked in just about every high tech company there was in Silicon Valley there up until I moved down West in the early 90s.
Couldn't leave the building so used to use the canteen. The Met Office had a great non-profit bar called the Isobar (cheesy). Used to get blitzed most Friday evenings.
I used to commute from Exeter to Bracknell but left before it relocated to Exeter.
