Perhaps they could erect some signs with instructions, on the local roundabouts! You know, with "X" marking the points at which to signal your intentions. :D

I used to be puzzled by Cypriots not indicating on roundabouts. Then my Cypriot pals were puzzled by me doing so!

I was assured by them that you do not have to indicate on roundabouts in Cyprus and they are not taught to do so when they learn to drive.

I have no idea if this is correct - I didn't learn to drive in Cyprus!

I do know that Cypriot cars have limited lock on their steering wheels - meaning they cannot turn right without diagonally cutting the corner!

And that only Cypriots can see the invisible stop lines at junctions. Us furriners see the white line level with the kerb. They can see another one - it is about 4ft further on!

Here’s another challenge for the dim witted “right on a roundabout” brigade…

If you were the gardener planning to climb on the circle in the middle of a roundabout so as to mow the lawn and obviously indicating RIGHT, how would the drivers behind you know that you’re not one of those TOTAL IDIOTS from the UK?

You were given advice by a group of people with one of the highest vehicle fatality rates in Europe, I doubt anything they say qualifies as advice. As a matter of fact you should ignore all Cypriots' opinions on all matters, nothing good ever came out of this country or its people.

No I missed my flight because bus drivers were busy on strike outside the presidential palace because they're not allowed to have their own monopoly and the taxi driver was asking for two month's salary to take me to LCA..
