Is that not correct if you are exiting the roundabout at the third exit?

I fvollowed someone yesterday who went the wrong way round a roundabout, to their credit, it was a quicker option......

If you drive round and around on a roundabout it simply means you’re going straight whereas all exits are a left turn. The only time you would indicate right on a roundabout is if you were planning to climb on the circle in the middle!

To Turn Left ( taking the first exit) signal left and approach in the left-hand lane keep to the left on the roundabout and continue signalling left to leave.

To go straight on ( taking the second exit) select the appropriate lane on approach to and on the roundabout. If no marking on the road it is usually safest to keep to the left lane. stay in this lane until you need to alter course to exit the roundabout signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want.

To Turn Right ( taking the last exit or third exit ) signal right and approach in the right-hand lane keep to the right on the roundabout until you need to change lanes to exit the roundabout signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want.

GR = typical Greek, doesn't have a clue about rounabouts LOL!

Where’s your link? Probably British, which proves how stupid they are and here’s why…

When you’re signaling right (because from your initial standpoint you’re heading right at the roundabout) the move automatically assumes that those who entered the roundabout from all other entry points know where you’re heading too, but that is IMPOSSIBLE because they were not necessarily behind you at the time!

They have no idea from where you made your entry and are therefore clueless as to what “right” means to YOU or when you’re planning to take a left thereby creating confusion and the likelihood of accidents!

Technically, there is no such thing as “right” on a roundabout although its ok to say “take a right on the roundabout” when giving instructions.

Setting off for what? I don’t drink every day Oracle... in fact not even every other day, so your attempt to portray me as a drunkard has failed…

Maybe the thought of maneuvering roundabouts propels you to having a nip!

You should spend a while in Milton Keynes ...

Seriously, if there are two lanes on the approach to a roundabout; you take the left one for the first exit or to go straight ahead. You take the right lane to go straight ahead or right!

Easy peasy! Spoken from the number one best driver in the UK/Cyprus! :D

Not that lanes were the issue here, but answer me this… which lane would you take to do a “U-turn” on a roundabout?

Take the right lane (if more than one) and keep signalling right (which on a roundabout means you are not exiting) until you have passed the last exit and then signal left to indicate you are about to exit at the next, immediately available exit.

Why don't you go back to riding donkeys? They'll instinctively know what to do. :D

Far out mate!

How the hell did you get your licence?

When taking the third exit, you should indicate right and then left when about to exit! That's how it is here in Oz and everywhere else I can think off!

Perhaps you have one of those Choirokitian licences of the back of the cereal box! :D

Bloody wimmin drivers!!!!
