Is that not correct if you are exiting the roundabout at the third exit?
I fvollowed someone yesterday who went the wrong way round a roundabout, to their credit, it was a quicker option......

Just assume every car out there is being driven by a small monkey jumping up and down on the seat screeching its head off. Any mistake it can make, it *will* make it. It will accelerate hard for no reason, it will decelerate hard for no reason, it will not use signals, it will not use mirrors, it will change lanes at will, it can not grasp the consequences of its actions and it will hurt you given half a chance. This is Cyprus. Driving defensively means you slow down when you're approaching traffic lights even if it's green for you (this happened yesterday in Limassol: 17 year old ran red lights killing pensioner in taxi http://www.cyprus-mail.com/cyprus/natio ... s/20100702), you definately do not follow the car in front of you too closely, he/she could turn into the next left/right side-road without indicating. On avenues don't drive right alongside another car, it could change lane without looking over or you could be in its blind spot, staggered formation is safest. If approaching traffic lights don't even attempt to accelerate if you see its turning orange, chances are the car from the opposite direction wanting to turn right *will* turn right (you're supposed to stop anyway) etc, etc.. You've really got to use your head and stay alert in Cyprus north and south.
