Really Mala. After your marvellous appraisal of the kid's tea party, really am surprised that you've jumped in bed with our Bourgeois Reactionary O on this one...
It's only a detail of the work, a detail by the way that reminds me of a past Master but can't for the life of me recall whom, but think it's brilliant that the artist has laid bare her life for all to see and examine, and to think about our own lives. It's a brill bit of work mate, the empty vodka bottles, Marlborough packet and overflowing ashtray, the feminine products... and that cuddly toy... and on the bed the abandoned dirty knickers,...Jees, this woman is questioning her own life, and in so doing forcing us to reappraise and confront ours.
Really think it's inspirational stuff and the tissies should be rightly proud of this artitess.
