I will try and find the stop motion movie they made later on the same day - it a very irreverent Mary and the Donkey theme using plasticene, they actually burned that table with their 'flaming credits'. Not to mention the other one they made where the lads put their young sister's head in a clamp to stop her moving between shots.

Yes, very artistic darlings indeed!

:D :D

Really Mala. After your marvellous appraisal of the kid's tea party, really am surprised that you've jumped in bed with our Bourgeois Reactionary O on this one...

Image

It's only a detail of the work, a detail by the way that reminds me of a past Master but can't for the life of me recall whom, but think it's brilliant that the artist has laid bare her life for all to see and examine, and to think about our own lives. It's a brill bit of work mate, the empty vodka bottles, Marlborough packet and overflowing ashtray, the feminine products... and that cuddly toy... and on the bed the abandoned dirty knickers,...Jees, this woman is questioning her own life, and in so doing forcing us to reappraise and confront ours.

Really think it's inspirational stuff and the tissies should be rightly proud of this artitess.

I prefer this lesser known work, Tracey Emin's toilet...

Image

The discernable traces of turd, the fag ash on the rim, the abandoned bog roll, the frayed wallpaper, the barely functional toilet seat. Tracey is questioning her own shit... and so she should.

Too kind. Really, he shouldn't trouble himself. Seriously, please don't!
