Guys i wanna hook up my Adsl modem with my PC. I need at least a 10 meter but I am not to sure what ethernet cable to use.

I need a high efficient one with low ping reponses as possible. I checked around a bit but not to sure what are the differences between cat5e , cat5 , cat6.

And do you know any shops around the nicosia district where I can buy them in normal prices.

If all you want is to connect the adsl modem with your PC then any ethernet cable will do just fine. Your ping will not be affected. Just get the cheaper one you can find. I don't know about Nicosia but in Limassol there are places that they can cut you the cable as long as you need it. I am sure there are such places in Nicosia also. GR should know

Bionic near Strovolos Alpha Mega (1st floor) or Stephanis should have 10m cable for you....

If you’re planning to use 1000Mbit or faster network cards then you might want to consider CAT-6 which is a better shielded (the 4 pairs are isolated) version of the CAT-5. That’s not to say however that CAT-5 can’t handle 1000Mbits.
